Anti-Eotaxin antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene CCL11, or 'C-C motif chemokine ligand 11' in humans. The 97-amino acid protein is a member of the Intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family and antibodies to the Eotaxin antigen may be useful for studying cytokine signaling. The cellular localization is predicted to be secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
