Anti-HAGHL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein hydroxyacylglutathione hydrolase like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 290 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.6 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix, stomach, and adrenal gland. It is a member of the Glyoxalase II protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include hydroxyacylglutathione hydrolase-like protein and GLO2-like/ RJD12. HAGHL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the HAGHL antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
