Anti-TRMT112 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tRNA methyltransferase activator subunit 11-2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 125 amino acid residues and a mass of 14.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TRM112 protein family, TRMT112 is known to act as a activator of both rRNA/tRNA and protein methyltransferases. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC170, TRM112, hTrm112, multifunctional methyltransferase subunit TRM112-like protein, TRM112-like protein, and HSPC152. TRMT112 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. A number of TRMT112 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
