Anti-OTUD6A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein OTU deubiquitinase 6A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 288 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.3 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis. OTUD6A is a type of deubiquitinating enzyme that hydrolyzes 'Lys-27'-, 'Lys-29'- and 'Lys-33'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Synonyms for this target antigen include OTU domain-containing protein 6A and HIN-6 protease. OTUD6A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some OTUD6A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
