Anti-AGE-R2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AGE-R2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PRKCSH gene, which encodes protein kinase C substrate 80K-H. This protein is known to function in intracellular signal transduction and liver development, among other biological roles. The human version of AGE-R2 has a canonical amino acid length of 528 residues and a protein mass of 59.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as G19P1. Indicated applications for AGE-R2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
