Anti-NLRP10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NLR family pyrin domain containing 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 655 amino acid residues and a mass of 75 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. It is reported to be highly expressed in basal and suprabasal epidermal cell layers with lower levels in dermal fibroblast cells. A member of the NLRP protein family, NLRP10 is reported to inhibit autoprocessing of CASP1, CASP1-dependent IL1B secretion, PYCARD aggregation and PYCARD-mediated apoptosis but not apoptosis induced by FAS or BID. Synonyms for this target antigen include NACHT, leucine rich repeat and PYD containing 10, nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain protein 8, nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain, leucine rich repeat and pyrin domain containing 10, and NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-containing protein 10. Some NLRP10 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
