Anti-Pancreatic lipase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PNLIP in humans. The pancreatic lipase protein has a reported amino acid length of 465 and an expected mass of 51.2 kDa. The protein may also be known as PTL, PL, PNLIPD, pancreatic triacylglycerol lipase, and triacylglycerol acylhydrolase. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
