Anti-oxidase (cytochrome c) assembly 1-like antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target oxidase (cytochrome c) assembly 1-like is a known alias name of the protein OXA1L mitochondrial inner membrane protein, encoded by the OXA1L gene in humans. This 435-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for the insertion of integral membrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for oxidase (cytochrome c) assembly 1-like include OXA1, OXA1L1, and mitochondrial inner membrane protein OXA1L.
