Anti-HOXD12 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homeobox D12. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 270 amino acid residues and a mass of 29 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Abd-B homeobox protein family, HOXD12 is known to be involved with skeletal system development. Synonyms for this target antigen include homeobox protein Hox-D12, Hox-4.7, mouse, homolog of, homeobox protein Hox-4H, and HOX4H. HOXD12 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some HOXD12 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
