Anti-F-box protein 27 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FBXO27 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 283 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.6 kDa. It is reported to be highly expressed in the brain, heart and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include F-box protein FBG5, F-box/G-domain protein 5, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and F-box only protein 27. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some F-box protein 27 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
