Anti-Neurogenin 1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the NEUROG1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 237 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is known to act as a transcriptional regulator. Other names for this target antigen include Math4C, NEUROD3, bHLHa6, ngn1, NGN-1, and AKA.
