Anti-RNF178 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RNF178 is a known alias name of the protein membrane associated ring-CH-type finger 8, encoded by the MARCHF8 gene in humans. This 291-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, lysosomes, and cytoplasmic vesicles of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
