Anti-FAM117B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 117 member B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 589 amino acid residues and a mass of 62 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 2 (juvenile) chromosome region, candidate 13, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 2 chromosomal region candidate gene 13 protein, and protein FAM117B. FAM117B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FAM117B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
