Anti-ADAM metallopeptidase domain 15 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ADAM15 in humans. The gene may also be known as a disintegrin and metallopeptidase domain 15 (metargidin), MDC15, and disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 15. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 93 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
