Anti-CAMTA2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein calmodulin binding transcription activator 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1202 amino acid residues and a mass of 131.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the brain. A member of the CAMTA protein family, CAMTA2 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. CAMTA2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Camta2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
