Anti-Heparanase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HPSE in humans. The heparanase protein has an expected mass of 61.1 kDa, but there are 4 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as HPA, HSE1, HPA1, HPR1, HPSE1, and endo-glucoronidase. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
