Anti-FMNL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein formin like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1028 amino acid residues and a mass of 117.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in endothelial cells. A member of the Formin homology protein family, FMNL3 is reported to play a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include WW domain binding protein 3, formin homology 2 domain-containing protein 3, and formin-like protein 3. FMNL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FMNL3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
