Anti-GDNF family receptor alpha 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GFRA2 in humans. The gene may also be known as GDNFRB, NRTNR-ALPHA, NTNRA, RETL2, GDNF receptor beta, and GDNFR-alpha-2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 51.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
