Anti-Flotillin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FLOT1 in humans. The Flotillin 1 protein has an expected mass of 47.4 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as integral membrane component of caveolae. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
