Anti-Growth hormone receptor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GHR in humans. The growth hormone receptor protein has an expected mass of 71.5 kDa, but there are 4 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as GHBP, Growth Hormone Binding Protein, GHIP, GH receptor, and serum binding protein. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
