Anti-C2orf76 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 2 open reading frame 76. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 126 amino acid residues and a mass of 14.6 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon, testis, and cerebral cortex. It is a member of the UPF0538 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include UPF0538 protein C2orf76. C2orf76 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are common applications for C2orf76 antibodies.
