Anti-ANKMY1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ankyrin repeat and MYND domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 941 amino acid residues and a mass of 105.5 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix, tonsil, and adrenal gland. Synonyms for this target antigen include ankyrin repeat and MYND domain-containing protein 1, testis-specific ankyrin-like protein 1, zinc finger MYND domain-containing protein 13, and ZMYND13. ANKMY1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some ANKMY1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
