Anti-GABBR2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein gamma-aminobutyric acid type B receptor subunit 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 941 amino acid residues and a mass of 105.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of a the G-protein coupled receptor 3 protein family, GABBR2 is a known component of the heterodimeric G-protein coupled receptor for GABA, formed by GABBR1 and GABBR2. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include EIEE59, GABABR2, GPR51, GPRC3B, HG20, HRIHFB2099, NDPLHS, and DEE59.
