Anti-WRB antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WRB is a known alias name of the protein guided entry of tail-anchored proteins factor 1, encoded by the GET1 gene in humans. This 174-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for the post-translational delivery of tail-anchored (TA) proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It is localized to the ER of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for WRB include CHD5 and congenital heart disease 5 protein. Some WRB antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
