Anti-NUBP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NUBP iron-sulfur cluster assembly factor 2, cytosolic. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 271 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.8 kDa. It is reported to be widely expressed with highest expression in skeletal muscle. A member of the Mrp/NBP35 ATP-binding proteins protein family, NUBP2 is a known component of the cytosolic iron-sulfur (Fe/S) protein assembly (CIA) machinery. Synonyms for this target antigen include CIAO6, NBP 2, NUBP1, cytosolic Fe-S cluster assembly factor NUBP2, homolog of yeast cytosolic Fe-S cluster deficient 1, and CFD1. NUBP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NUBP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
