Anti-BCL5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BCL5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BCL6 gene, which encodes BCL6 transcription repressor. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of BCL5 has a canonical amino acid length of 706 residues and a protein mass of 78.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and lymph node.
