Anti-SorLA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SorLA is a known alias name of the protein sortilin related receptor 1, encoded by the SORL1 gene in humans. This 2214-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a sorting receptor that directs several proteins to their correct location within the cell (Probable). In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. Other synonyms for SorLA include C11orf32, LR11, and LRP9. Indicated applications for SorLA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
