Anti-Forkhead box A2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FOXA2 in humans. The gene may also be known as HNF3beta, TCF3B, hepatocyte nuclear factor 3-beta, and HNF-3-beta. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 48.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
