Anti-Cdh15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cadherin 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 814 amino acid residues and a mass of 88.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in the brain and cerebellum. Among its functions, CDH15 is involved with cell adhesion. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include CDH3, CDHM, MCAD, MRD3, cadherin 15, type 1, M-cadherin (myotubule), cadherin-14, muscle-cadherin, and CDH14.
