Anti-AP50 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AP50 is a known alias name of the protein adaptor related protein complex 2 subunit mu 1, encoded by the AP2M1 gene in humans. This 435-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the adaptor protein complex 2 (AP-2). It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the brain. The term CLAPM1 is another synonym for AP50. Western Blot is the most common application for the AP50 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
