Anti-PRL3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRL3 is a known alias name of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase 4A3, encoded by the PTP4A3 gene in humans. This 173-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the Notch signaling pathway and protein dephosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be mainly expressed in cardiomyocytes and skeletal muscle; also found in the pancreas.
