Anti-SIC-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SIC-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FLI1 gene, which encodes Fli-1 proto-oncogene, ETS transcription factor. This protein is known to function in organ morphogenesis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of SIC-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 452 residues and a protein mass of 51 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include BDPLT21, EWSR2, and SIC-1. Some SIC-1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
