Anti-RSKR antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein S6 kinase related. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 410 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family, RSKR is known to be involved with protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ribosomal protein S6 kinase-related protein and sugen kinase 494. RSKR gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
