Anti-elongation factor 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the ELOF1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 83 amino acid residues and a mass of 9.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the ELOF1 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include ELF1 homolog, elongation factor 1, elongation factor 1 homolog (ELF1, S. cerevisiae), and transcription elongation factor 1 homolog. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
