Anti-CWF19 like cell cycle control factor 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CWF19L2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 894 amino acid residues and a mass of 103.8 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the CWF19 protein family, it is known to be involved with RNA splicing. Other names for this target antigen include CWF19-like protein 2 and CWF19 like 2, cell cycle control. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
