Anti-golgi associated kinase 1B antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the GASK1B gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 519 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is a member of the GASK protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include AD036, C4orf18, ENED, FAM198B, expressed in nerve and epithelium during development, and AD021. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
