Anti-SEC61 translocon subunit gamma Antibody Products

Anti-SEC61 translocon subunit gamma antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the SEC61G gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 68 amino acid residues and a mass of 7.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. A member of the SecE/SEC61-gamma protein family, it is known to be a component of SEC61 channel-forming translocon complex that mediates transport of signal peptide-containing precursor polypeptides across the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) (By similarity). Other names for this target antigen include protein transport protein Sec61 subunit gamma, SEC61 translocon gamma subunit, Sec61 gamma subunit, protein transport protein SEC61 gamma subunit, and SSS1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
