Anti-FKBP prolyl isomerase 11 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FKBP11 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 201 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. It is a member of the FKBP-type PPIase protein family. Other names for this target antigen include peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase FKBP11, 19 kDa FK506-binding protein, 19 kDa FKBP, FK506 binding protein 11, 19 kDa, FK506-binding protein 11, and FKBP19. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
