Anti-olfactory receptor family 4 subfamily X member 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the OR4X1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 305 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 4X1 and olfactory receptor OR11-104. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, bovine and chimpanzee species.
