Anti-MLLT3 super elongation complex subunit antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the MLLT3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 568 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. It is noted to be involved in hematopoietic stem cell differentiation and the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways. Other names for this target antigen include YEATS3, protein AF-9, ALL1-fused gene from chromosome 9 protein, KMT2A/MLLT3 fusion protein, and AF9. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
