Anti-pof11 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The pof11 antigen is another term for the human protein ERCC excision repair 6, chromatin remodeling factor, encoded by the ERCC6 gene. The protein is known to be involved in repair of DNA damage following UV irradiation, acting either in the absence of ERCC6 or synergistically with ERCC6. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1061 residues and a mass of 119.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is reported to be expressed in the heart and oocytes, but not in granulosa cells.
