Anti-yhfS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target yhfS is a known alias name of the protein telomere maintenance 2, encoded by the TELO2 gene in humans. This 837-amino acid residue protein is a reported regulator of the DNA damage response (DDR). It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
