Anti-METTL25B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein methyltransferase like 25B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 475 amino acid residues and a mass of 53 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the METTL25 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include CGI-41, RRNAD1, methyltransferase-like protein 25B, protein RRNAD1, ribosomal RNA adenine dimethylase domain containing 1, and C1orf66. METTL25B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
