Anti-CD179b antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD179b is a known alias name of the protein immunoglobulin lambda like polypeptide 1, encoded by the IGLL1 gene in humans. This 213-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in immune response pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER and is secreted of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be preferentially expressed in pre-B-cells and a special B-cell line (which is surface Ig negative). Other synonyms for CD179b include 14.1 and AGM2. Indicated applications for CD179b antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
