Anti-YIPF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Yip1 domain family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 316 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the YIP1 protein family, YIPF2 is known to be involved with vesicle-mediated transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein YIPF2 and YIP1 family member 2. YIPF2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some YIPF2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
