Anti-Protein XE7 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Protein XE7 antigen is another term for the human protein A-kinase anchoring protein 17A, encoded by the AKAP17A gene. The protein is known to function in mRNA processing and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 695 residues and a mass of 80.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
