Anti-protease, serine 3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target protease, serine 3 is a known alias name of the protein serine protease 3, encoded by the PRSS3 gene in humans. This 304-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a digestive protease that cleaves proteins preferentially after an Arg residue and has proteolytic activity toward Kunitz-type trypsin inhibitors. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the pancreas and pancreatic fluid. Some protease, serine 3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
