Anti-Ras homolog enriched in brain antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Ras homolog enriched in brain is a known alias name of the protein Ras homolog, mTORC1 binding, encoded by the RHEB gene in humans. This 184-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in oligodendrocyte differentiation and the cell cycle, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types.
