Anti-SET1B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SET1B is a known alias name of the protein SET domain containing 1B, histone lysine methyltransferase, encoded by the SETD1B gene in humans. This 1966-amino acid residue protein is a known histone methyltransferase that catalyzes methyl group transfer from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to the epsilon-amino group of 'Lys-4' of histone H3 (H3K4) via a non-processive mechanism. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the gallbladder and urinary bladder. Other synonyms for SET1B include IDDSELD and KMT2G. Indicated applications for SET1B antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
