Anti-EVI5L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ecotropic viral integration site 5 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 794 amino acid residues and a mass of 91.4 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. EVI5L is known to function as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) with a broad specificity. Synonyms for this target antigen include ecotropic viral integration site 5-like protein, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and EVI5-like protein. EVI5L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the EVI5L antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
